Hey I've decided I want an AC/Intimi/Tank type to add to my mains. I don't think the build is anythign revolutionary. I have some excellent ML 11 or 12 D-Axes (hence the feat there). If the build works, I'd eventually swap that out for Khopesh and build a Khopesh (I'd think).

Looking for feedback and insight from those who've played these types (and obviously if I'm missing anythign major, please let me know).

Thanks in advance.

I guess the question is how defensive vs offensive oriented do you want this tank to be? How much intimidate do you want? I see a more offensive hybrid with the ability to inimidate most (but not all) things reliably, given cleave and great cleave and an extra toughness over SF: Intim, Shield Mastery, Imp. Shield Mastery.

Well, I guess I'm open to suggestions on the question of balance.

Seems like hero method is moer and more useful these days, so I would like him to have a killer AC. I'm not sure if this guy qualfies for that or not. At the same time, I'd be bored stiff if I couldn't at least attack some stuff. Hence greatcleave.

So I guess my prioritise would be #1 high AC but #2 can still hit stuff.

The shield feats are nice for DR and survivability. But thats not a priority for me. I want AC =)

My intimitank also has the 2 lvls of rogue for evasion, but for anything really high-end, I need the extra armor benefit from the +5 MFP. You'll probably find the same to be true if you want that "killer AC". A really solid tank needs to have 4 things IMO: AC, saves, HP, and DR. You'll be fine in 3 of the 4 areas I would imagine. Often if you're hero-ing, you're going to be shield blocking, hence the shield mastery feats over cleave/great cleave.

Perhaps drop one toughness or great cleave for a shield mastery in the name of being a bit more balanced? You're never going to win kill count anyway, since you'll be using a 1-hander most of the time.
