Brand new player, dwarven/cleric question

I only have done PnP and just got the game and downloading now.

I would like to have a dwarven/cleric and be able to use an axe.

Is that possible and if so, how?

Couple of choices. You can:

1.) Use a feat to take Martial Weapons

2.) Take 1 lvl of fighter to get martial weapons and an extra feat.

3.) Take 1 lvl of paladin or ranger to get martial weapons and not loose as many SP.

4.) Take 1 lvl of barbarian to get martial weapons and a rage per day while loosing the ablity to cast while raging.

I would rather not pick up anther class (only due to a roleplay reason). So taking the first choice is the best then?
