One table showing all the adventure areas to date, with links to maps and list of rares. Many have contributed to this project, started back in the Winter of 2006. I thank Dorim for his many maps, though he had so many ales, he doesn't remember me purchasing them, :) and all those that gave data.
Here's the link, I hope the table helps you enjoy the game more:
http://achievebalance.com/ddo/adventureareas.htm
Mod 9 changed the data for all the adventure areas, making the original table obsolete. Extra, extra thanks to drwranck, BDS, darkchilde326, daehawk, atkbeast, zawran, Thix and Dallie for help with the updates!

Thank you for the 2 rares in the East, and the slayer total. My play time has been limited since Mod 7 (as compared to before!) so I haven't been in those areas yet. I updated both the table and the list of rares.
Again, thanks!

I have added the areas that are part of Reaver's Reach ... including links to great maps by Artuxis for them!

I have added the area Restless Isles (currently, only on Lamania, but Mod 9 will bring it to the game).
As either I get the rares, or as people provide me the names of rares, I'll add them. Still hoping for links to maps of Subterrane areas.
Thanks for helping me keep this useful!

your exp/slayer is innacurate as of mod9.
Tangleroot Gorge 750 = 4019 / 1500 = 8707
3BC 10 = 245 / 25 = 340 / 50 = 485 / 100 = 780 / 200 = 1355 / 400 = 2525 / 750 = 4395 / 1500 = 9450
Seering Height 10 = 285 / 25 = ??? / 50 = 555 / 100 = 877 / 200 = 1500 / 400 = 2760 / 750 = 4770
Sorrow Dusk 10 = 325 / 25 = 447 / 50 = 625 / 100 = 975 / 200 = 1645 / 400= 2995 / 750 = 5145 / 1500 = 10935
Ataraxia's Haven 10 = 445 / 25 = 606 / 50 = 835 / 100 = 1267 / 400 = 3700 / 750 = 6270 / 1500 = 13162
Menechtarun 10 = 485 / 25 = 660 / 50 = 905 / 100 = 1365 / 200 = 2225 / 400 = 3935 / 750 = 6645 / 1500 = 13905 / 3000 = 28265
GH 10 = 565 / 25 = ??? / 50 = 1045 / 100 = 1560 / 200 = ??? / 400 = ??? / 750 = ??? / 1500 = ??? / 3000 = ???
Orchard 10 = 605 / 25 = 819 / 50 = 1115 / 100 = 1657 / 200 = 2660 / 400 = 4640 / 750 = 7770 / 1500 = 16132 / 5000 = ??? / 7500 = ???
Vale of Twilight
Subterrane
Reaver's Reach
I can post you the rest soon as i level up through them if you want to, sorry for the earlier level ones, i have completed them so i can't tell you their exp progression...
menechtarun 1500 = 13905 3000 = 28265
Thus with drwranck's earlier numbers would put the totals at 56,340 per and 169,020 total for slayer.

Gianthold 1500 : 15,390 XP
Vale 400 : 5,110 XP
Reaver's 200: 3,095 XP
Devil's Battlefield 10 : 805 XP (Don't even see Devil's Battlefield on the list at all. so here's more info)
Devil's Battlefield Explorer 14 zones: 550 per discovery; 1,925 Upon completion
Devil's Battlefield 14 Rares: 1,100 per first kill; 7,700 upon completion
Edit: I think it was just Slayers xp that was changed. Gianthold, Orchard, Vale rare and explorer xp are grayed for old information. But it's still correct info according to my quest journal.

I have added the above info, and gone through all my characters and added what they had available. I added Devil's Battlefield and the data there. Since only one of mine have been there, my list of rares there has plenty of room for more info.
Again, I have gotten a lot of feedback from people who like using this tool, and appreciate the help in updating it.
Also, you'll notice I don't have links to maps of the following areas, if anyone knows of such maps please post here:
Restless Isles,
Subterrane Central,
Subterrane East,
Devil's Battlefield

thanks for the numbers. I tried to get to that map, but I get a "403 - Forbidden" instead. I'll see what I can do about that.
By the way, Gainthold before Mod 9 offered a total of about 207k xp, now it's 216,508 xp !!! Hey, every little bit helps!

Hmm yeah I tried to refresh it and it said forbidden. I got it from: http://ddowiki.com/page/Map_of_Devil_Battlefield
After I went back to the site again and went through the links to it it said it wasn't forbidden anymore.

Sub 100 - 1,852
Forgot to grab 25 and 50. But comparing the data Vale and Sub seem to share the same XP table.
950 per rare
475 per explorer
All the current collected data for Sub and Vale slayers line up.

SmilinJ ... please tell me which map you are trying to get, which gives you that error. Some of these maps are not on photobucket, can you get those ok? If this is really a photobucket error, I can download them to my server and then change the links to get them from there. But if it's a problem with your ISP, then I can't help, sorry.
So let's find out where the problem really is, and if it's not your ISP, I'll do what I can to take care of it.

Daehawk, thank you very much. Now there are only 3 areas incomplete, and hopefully someone who has those numbers will come forward:
As of January 15th, other than the names of some rares (listed in first post of thread!) here's all we need:
Orchard: 7,500
Reaver's Reach: 1,500; 3,000; 5,000 and 7,500
Devil's Battlefield: 25; 50; 100; 400; 750; 1,500; 3,000; 5,000; and 7,500.

Survive the Zombie Attack.

My Ranger now has over 3,000 kills in Devil's Battleground (she OWNS that place!) and got me the next to last needed number.
All that's left as of April 23, 2010, is the number for 7,500 kills in Devil's Battleground!
Note: I know that some are debating the value of adventure areas, since you don't get favor points there. Remember that reincarnated characters need a LOT more experience points to level, and one source for that XP can be the adventure areas. Get a group together, split up if you can, and go for it. Clean it out once so that everyone can get their explorers, then focus on getting the rares if you want, then slayer numbers. Look closely at the chart, realize that there's A LOT of xp is some of these!
Again, thanks to all that have helped put it together!

You can probably save yourself some time getting future numbers by instead using the formulas used to derive the EXP amounts:
Explorer EXP = (Level + 3) * 25
All Explorer Bonus = (Explorer EXP / 4) * Number of Explorers
Rare EXP = (Level + 3) * 50
All Rare Bonus = (Rare EXP / 2) * Number of Rares
Slayer (10) = ((Level + 1) * 40) + 5
Slayer (25) = ((Level + 1) * 53.3333) + 20
Slayer (50) = ((Level + 1) * 70) + 65
Slayer (100) = ((Level + 1) * 97.5) + 195
Slayer (200) = ((Level + 1) * 145) + 485
Slayer (400) = ((Level + 1) * 235) + 1115
Slayer (750) = ((Level + 1) * 375) + 2145
Slayer (1500) = ((Level + 1) * 742.5) + 4995
Slayer (3000) = ((Level + 1) * 1465) + 10685
Slayer (5000) = ((Level + 1) * 2025) + 15075
Slayer (7500) = ((Level + 1) * 2635) + 19865

thanks for the formula, I guess I'm a bit old fashioned and wanted to know for sure. I'm also posting because as of Mod 5, if you are wearing at least one of the 5% XP items (Voice of the Master or Mantel of the World Shaper) you now get a 5% bonus to XP in the adventure areas as well. That bonus also applies to repeat kills of rares!

My rogue/wizard/monk Backpack (warforged quarterstaff wielding experiment) has entered and done much. He has HALF the rares already ...
Cow, you were right. Your table worked for the explorers, rares and first 400 kills, so I used it for the rest of the numbers. Thank you very much!
Oh, yeah ... as soon as someone makes a map and someone gives me a link to it, I'll put that in, too!
Ouch. Do the Red Fens slayer counts really go all the way to 7,500?
Lcdr_Swizzle
08-20-2010, 02:10 PM
You can see what they go up to, by selecting the "book" shape icon on top left ... and select "wilderness". You'll see the number of kills in each area and the total number of kills possible. For example, to the right of "Waterworks" you'll see something like 149/400, meaning you have 149 kills, and the max for which you'll get credit is 400.
This means that there is a LOT of xp in the Red Fens for those that will grind it. I suspect, that most "grinders" will have all explorers and all rares before 1500, since there are only about 150 in the area to kill, which is a low number.
The ones with a lot of kills may be the ones doing the last quest on epic for epic items. But they won't be getting any xp ... lol

 edit: Ya know, had I seen that plat farmer site linked at the bottom of your wiki page sooner... How about getting rid of that? Once the powers hear of it, they'll prolly not allow you to link that page, and it's otherwise quite worthy.

I have made no entries on the wiki, whoever made that table there did a very good job, it's well done. I may take mine down now that I see the wiki has been updated and has a great list of info.
