Anyone have pics of the docent of defiance with mithral and adam bodies? I have seen it on my wf sorc with composite, but interested in what the others look like.

The Docent of Corpsecraft, Quickening, and Defiance all use the same docent graphic (and nearly the same exact color, if it isn't the same color). I can confirm that defiance looks exactly the same on the other bodies.

i can triple confirm. was kinda disappointed by the looks, but hey, its still a cool item. had one wf tell me that they are useless, as when you get hit it is impossible to move. then i told him to tumble when he procs, but he didnt understand. just said he didnt have the feat.....even though i told him you didnt NEED a feat or anything for it. so i just stopped arguing about it.

Can you please explain why these are so sought-after. Improved resistance to 3 elements is all it lists...what procs? I do well with my docent of quickening and haven't even yet bothered working on a dt docent...the random feature and needing to run dozens and dozens of times is just annoying.

Its proc is quite good: DR 20/- for twenty seconds, along with a SEVERE crippled condition which makes your movements slow to near nothing. However like the above posters said, if you block you can tumble at full speed, even if you just hop along in shield block. Its amazing for standing and swinging, the DR procs at a good rate, though i have no idea the actual percentage except to say "more than lighting strike"

Docet of Defiance~ Adamintine Body. It has been my experiance that all docets look their best with this feat versus Mythrill Body, there may be a few exceptions.

I like the adamantine look.

Composite one is lame, feeakin pink and caster style.

Sucks cuz this a great docent for barbarians in some situations.. Yet for barbairans - taking any kind of body feat is just stupid. Because the DR doesnt stack and AC is worthless to us.

They should just let you select the style you want without having to spend a feat on it. Like a free racial feat you can swap out, but doesn't do anything other then change how your docents look.
