CRAFTING +1 Armor Bonus doesn't seem to stack

Mod 7 has a crafting feature

- 5 flasks of pure water
- 15 prayer beads

results in +1 armor bonus

When I tried it with existing bound armor that is already +1 it did not stack i.e., I did not get +2 armor. My only success has been making robes into +1 armor.

Has anyone else had this experience?

Is this a bug or is this the way it is supposed to work?

It's a known issue....

The devs have stated and are working on changing it to a Dodge Bonus rather than armor bonus... No update on when the fix will take place.
