How about crafting with collectables

Has anyone found new recipies for collectables or figured out how we craft with collectables yet?

depending upon raid culture over the next few days my plan is to consolidate all of my collectables onto one toon and start going through various combinations for everything that i have 20-30 of. Naturally I'll post anything i find but, am not expecting to find much more than a way to fill time between groups :)

hmmm... maybe i'll do this with my monk instead of leveling him by buying a bunch of +1 staves and generic outfits

Be very aware that only one crafting bonus can be applied to each item! If the item has, for example, the Adamantine Ritual, and you attempt to add a collectable-based upgrade the Adamantine Ritual is striped from the item and replaced with the new ritual.
Real bummer to have an upgrade that requires several soul gems stripped off and replaced by an upgrade that can be gained after a couple of runs of the Baudry Series and Steal the Healing Elixir.

can you add these rituals to a greensteel item that it decked out tier 3 without stripping them?

No idea. After my above experience I am not willing to try it. It should work technically since none of the green
steel upgrades (only the weapon/item's construction) is tied to that Altar.

i tried adding the force critical one to the shuriken from stk but i keep getting a failure message.

i put the shuriken, 6 sparkling dusts and 12 deadly feverbranches in the thing by the bank but it doesnt work

what am i doing wrong?

Komori you have to put it in a binding ritual- that cost about 100-200 khyber dragon shards

FYI...

Collectables other than those listed in the NEW recipes are rejected by the alter so no sense in trying for other combos yet

I tried it to, it seems that you can not do any crafting on shuriken but bind them
