Has anyone have an optimize a time : favor quest 'to do' roster at 'x' difficulty to reach 1750 the quickest route their willing to share? My request boils down to me wanting to write up a new character WITHOUT having to re-make once the 32 pt creation points gets unlocked. I will admit that's a little selfish on my part not wanting to spend months, on end, questing to have this perk. I'm sure others have the same desire to get it over with so you can finally have this creation benefit, so I'm not all sheepish to raise the question here: What's the questing formula to get the 1750 in the most expedient manner?

Honestly, the fastest path to 1750 lies in having a group of high level folks doing quests only on elite with you in the group.

Probably by making a cleric (healbot) or buffing/healing bard and joining every LFM you see for quests "On elite" or "for favor" that you haven't already done (this is assuming you don't really care to continue playing the character once it unlocks 1750). Advantage of going the bard route would be you'd have a decent hagglebot to sell your stuff once you retired it ;). If you want to know which quests give how much favor (to choose which quests to make your own groups for once the popular ones are done), check out Rowanheals Comprehensive Quest list. It's very clear and concise (in the user written guides forum, about page 2).

Depends on how much you want to put into the process. Kistilan put together The Path To Power: A Critical Path Guide (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=122746) .

It's not among the most recent of threads. And, with Mod 7 (hopefully) debuting "soon" you may find it misses a few points. But, if you want an outline for a somewhat informed whirlwind tour of your goal, it should hit the high points. Also, Rowanheal put together a quest list on Google-docs, if you need to track progress outside of your Adventure compendium.

If I had a similar goal, I'd likely roll the healbot Cleric, and trade my healing/buffing abilities to ride along with the favor seeking group. Some groups absolutely will not get underway without a Cleric. You just don't see many parties willingly hold the last spot for a Bard, for some sad reason. This matters less when a high level party runs favor in a lower level quest. However, from time to time you may not have the luxury of grouping with players overpowering the quest.

Good Luck.

I did the favor grind off and on, could have gotten it a lot sooner than I did but was having too much fun with my other toons.

I did find a few general principles to getting favor quick.

1. Join any favor group, even if you don't need the quest they are doing. Once you are in there you can suggest other quests, and they probably need them too so you are on your way.

2. If there is no favor group going, solo them. Go into your quest log and sort them by level, and hit the lower level ones by yourself. You may have to open them on normal, then hard, then elite, but unless they are really long chains it will be quicker to do it that way than to put up an LFM and gather a group. A guildie may be able to come open it for you on elite as well.

3. Hit the grind as often as possible. For me, anyways, it got a little boring doing lower level stuff all the time, especially when I saw LFM's up for fun quests. I would get on, knock out a few favor runs, then do other stuff for a while, then a favor run or two waiting for a group that looked good or a guild run. The favor grind seems a lot longer when your guildies are crafting in the shroud while you are looking for gems for Baudry Cartamon, so try to hit it during slow or off peak times.
