Desert Coins

From bloodstone runs, I've accumulated over 1000 desert coins. I'm not in a hurry to spend them, so I could wait until I hit 5K, 10K, etc. I was just wondering, concerning best bang for your buck, what should I buy? Has anyone ever gotten anything good from turning them in? Concerning gear, what is the best thing you've gotten off the guy in the dessert?

The desert tokens are a joke and a waste of time ... you are better off just leaving them in the chest than taking up valuable back pack space ..... your mileage may vary though .... enjoy!

I collected those damned things till i had enough to turn in to the guy for top level items and thats when i found that........ drumroll!!!!.............it's just a normal freaking endreward-like loot table. totally random and nothing good. I had enough that i turned them in five times at max number of tokens and the best thing i got was a 72k base gold weapon to sell to the vendor. whoopee.



while we're on the subject, wouldnt it be nice if the top level turn in amount gave you a named item from the desert? Doesnt that seem better? I have ransacked 7 toons every week for 8 months or more and never got a bloodstone. it'd be nice if the guy would give that damned thing to me already ha!

You basically get stuff similar to a L12-L13 quest end reward list. Nothing to be excited about.
