Make Risia like Mournlands?

That would be SO cool.

Has anyone else reported a bug with Risia? I keep launching DDO-Risia... but it never gives me new files to update. *scratches head*

If it's really Monk week next week and they're going to make the May date for Monks then we should have monks on Risia now to test. Or maybe we aren't allowed to test until it is "MONK WEEK". In which case it's more of Risia - Preview Server instead of Risia - Test Server. I guess at least as a few day preview server it would catch any launch issues.

It's also possible that Risia won't get the content before release.

Sure you can argue that it won't be properly "tested" then, but honestly a) very few people even bother to report bugs on Risia and instead choose to just exploit them when they go live and b) they never have time to actually fix bugs found on Risia before the module is released anyway.

Honestly, to my mind, Risia was an experiment that failed. (And that's coming from a guy who loved to preview and test out the new content on Risia.)

maybe they could revert it back to a test server by requiring all players there to submit a bug report or comment every week they login there or lose access to Risia. if they really find no bugs or potential issues they could just say looks fine no bugs to report.or something along these lines..

While I agree that Risia content fixes haven't seen much turnaround.

Risia launcher, character and patcher issues which are higher priority than content have been found.

Like the one that caused your patcher to update EVERY file. And some weird inventory ones. Plus it could catch the splittable stack returners type issue that we had for the noRisia Mod 1 and Mod 2. Anything that might cause the servers to have to close down, revert and wait for a patch. Usually differences between their test databases and the live databases getting content.

I think if risa is not going to be used it should be announced.

As it is people are thinking monks are still nto goign to come out for awhile since they have not even been released on Risa yet.

A definate time table should be available at this point, or at least the ability for them to say "We will not be releasing Mod 7 by the end of this month but hope to release it by Mid June etc.

If the mod is being released this month....tell us.

If not...let us know now....to many people are getting frustrated about the wait.

Additional information such as "Will there be new character slots?" is also important and shouldn't wait for "Monk Week". At least not if the new mod is going to be released in the near future.

If it is not going to be released soon, let everyone know.....then we won't care about getting the info right away.

If it is going to be released in the next 2 weeks though advanced warning on if we need to free up slots for monks etc would be nice.
