Pit Fiend Bugged us Out!!!

In a bizzarre twist of events the pit fiend did something last night to make us all stand there not responding while he killed us. I think he was using an exploit, or maybe that +5 repeating heavy lag spike of greater client bane that he was supposed to have taken away from him a while back. The superior latency affect was overpowering and we couldn't heal each other or swing our weapons!

I'm hoping that in the near future we'll be able to fight the pit fiend straight up - with neither side stading there non-responsive while the other team wins.

Yeah... I was in a PUG and had promised to take them through Coal chamber... last PUG spot went to the pit fiend. I wouldn't have joined if I knew he was coming... but I had already said I'd take the rest of the group through the quest.

He was a total Piker. Kept yelling at us "WHAT IS THIS" at every encounter. The worst part was everytime we'd fight some mob and someone else would kill it... he'd get mad and stop doing anything... one of those AFK piker types.

He fell down the last chasm like six times and when we started making fun of him not flying despite the huge wings... he got all doom and gloom about making Shavarath coterminous with the coalescence chamber so he could rule the quest. So he finally got to the top at the final cave and on and on about how he would rule the chamber and vale... and then he got really huge using some founder-only spell of his... but beacuse of his size couldn't fit through the final door. We were all laughing at him for the longest time. He of course went afk again.

The bard in the group felt so bad she offered him the Funk she pulled... but it didn't bring him back from his afk. I'm never grouping with him again.

I have never had a problem with him. Heck when he groups with my paladin, he kills everyone else but him....then they play poker with their gear.
