Hello everyone,
In the last days I've been running the shroud with my cleric more often, and I just had a hard time on the mass healing cause I was getting a HUGE delay when I spammed cure serious, mass + cure mod, mass + cure crit, mass, and when I mean a HUGE delay is something about 4 to 6 seconds from the time I hit the first one till I can see everyone move again.
I think this is a hardware issue only, since on other quests I don't any problems except when there are too many particles effects going on at the same time.
So my question is, for those who plays clerics mostly and you have never experienced this kind of lag/delay...
Can you let me know what hardware specs you're using? (Processor, Motherboard, Video card, RAM amount)
Don't remember if its valid to show brands here, but if its not, just PM me please.
Much appreciated.

The easiest way to test this would be to adjust your graphics setting up or down and see if it has an affect. If you see a major change then it is likely your hardware and turning down your graphics for shroud raids may help. It is also helpful to ask if everyone else is experiencing lag at the same time - I hit lag spikes a lot lately and they are server side - I know this because any time I have a lag spike everyone has a lag spike.
I'm running a 3.2 Ghz Core2 Duo Extreme with 4 Gb DDR2 Ram and a 512 Mb DDR3 Radeon video card. This allows me to crank the graphics all to high and pretty much never see client side lag. I had planned to overclock, double the ram and either double the video card with crossfire or get a better video card, but at the moment I have no software that would benefit from the upgrade so I'll wait until I have a need and can upgrade that much cheaper.
Good Luck!

It might be easier for you to post your hardware... That way anything that can improve your situation would be easier to determine.
Having said that, I build my own systems, and try to balance performance to cost. I've used AMD CPUs since the '286 days because they're cheaper than Intel chips of similar performance, (these days about $100 cheaper), and I've never had a problem with them. To be fair, I've not had issues with the Intel systems I maintain at work either... I just cannot justify personal cash that could be used for other features.
My system consists of (other than case and power supply):
ASUS M2N32-SLIdeluxe mainboard
AMD +4600 AM2 x2 (dual 64 bit core)
2GB Corsair Ram (matched and specced to 2Ghz mem. bus)
eVGA e-GeForce 7600 GS video (SLI, 512mb dedicated ram)
250 GB SATA H.D.
SATA dual layer DVD/CD burner w/Lightscribe
Dell 1905 flatscreen
Logitech G-15 v1 keyboard
Microsoft Sidewinder mouse
I run MS Vista Ultimate-64bit
Also, almost as important is my internet connection, which is Comcast cable at 8mb/sec.

When running around I can experiane pretty bad hitching when textures load due my drive needing to be constantly defragged. More times then not a simple clean up of my drives resolves this issue.
If/when I experiance lag due to graphics I'll turn off ALL video post effects and shadows. This has the greatest impact upon performance, for me.
Normally I'll run the game at maxed settings on 1680x1050.
XP pro
p4 2.8 prescott
ati HIS x1950pro 512mb (ddr3) AGP
gigabyte 1000 mobo
2x 1gb dual channel DDR (2gb @ 800mhz, effective)
More times then not I get pretty smooth game play and a solid frame rate with ALL graphic options on and maxed; except AA/AF!
