weather worn parchment

would someone please tell me if the "weather worn parchment" has a purpose. do i give it to someone? who?
i cant imagine that it would take up an inventory slot if it didnt have a use. please help

throw it out. it's a quest item that should drop on exit but doesn't... i can't remember which quest, but i know you can get rid of it.

The weather-worn parchment drops as a quest item in Irestone Inlet. It is entirely useless, and come Mod 7, will auto delete itself from inventory when you exit the quest. For that reason, you may want to hang on to it for sentimental reasons.:D
