Raids vs Parties
Up to 12 in a Raid
Up to 6 in a Quest
To go on a Raid, you need to meet the prereqs (if any)
To go on a Quest you need to want to do it
Raids are currently full of drama, tension and expectations (some more than others)
Quests are full of people wanting to beat the quest.
Raids (mostly) have special chests at the end with named Raid loot for that Raid.
Quests have chests and normal end rewards with some having named rewards (TR, STK, Deleras, Etc)

The game currently has 6 raids, and each is a little different, all are meant for 12 players
1. Tempest Spine lvl 10, this was the first raid and is more like a 12 person quest than anything else. It is considered the most popular raid in a recent poll
2.The Vault of night lvl 10 This is the first of the raids that required prerequisites in order to enter. 4 quests had to be done in succession, and then you were flagged for the pre raid area. This was a 12 man quest area which had to be defeated. Defeating the end boss had you locked in a room at the end, your choices after finishing were to move forward and run the final piece which was a battle againt velah the dragon or finish out. If you fought and defeated Velah, you got a shot araid loot. Also you were on a 3 day timer before you could reset and start the 4 quest chain again.
3. The Twilight Forge lvl 11 This raid had 3 prequisites, the first allowed you passage to the restless isles where you could run 2 quests that woudl give you 2 pieces to an sigil, once you got this sigil, it gave you access to the Twilight forge pre raid, essentially another 12 man quest. If you defeated the pre raid, you were again locked in and had the choice to advance to beat the raid boss the warforged titan or finish out.If you beat the warforged titan, you were placed on a 3 day timer, after which you could repair your sigil and run the pre raid/raid again.
4. The Demon Queen lvl12 This raid had three pre quests each giving you an item , once you got all three items and gave them to the djinni you gained access to the 6 man pre raid, which after you finished gave you acces to the final riad boss, unlike the previous 2 raids once you complete the pre raid you are not forced to go to the final raid but can do so at your leisure. Also unlike the velah raid, you could do the pre quests in any order and you could stockpile the items to use to flag in the future. This also has a 3 day timer
5.Gianthold Stormreaver: lvl 14 This raid introduced yet another mechanic, which involved 3 main quests, these had to be completed at least once, these and all the sub quests in the area dropped 3 kinds of relics, once you collected 20 relics of each type you could advance to the 6 man preraid where if you defeated the 3 dragon/giant boss areas, you became flagged for the final raid against the stormreaver. Once flagged you could repeat the final portion every 3 days without having to reflag or do the pre raid.
6.The Abbott lvl 15 This raid had 4 pre quests whic dropped pieces to a sigil of which 8 were required, once you had all 8 you could advance to the 6 man pre raid. The pre raid had 4 possible end bosses, which were chosen by solving a riddle, only one end boss coudl be defeated per try. Once you defeated all end bosses(running the quest 4 times) you had access to the final raid which like the stormreaver once defeated could be defeated every 3 days.
7.The Shroud lvl 17 This raid had 5 pre quests which gave you a piece of a signet stone once you got all 5 once and you formed them into one piece you are given acces to the shroud raid area, which consists of 5 stages.Unlike other raids this one does not give out raid loot but gives out crafting ingredients in order to make special player crafted items from recipes. This also has a 3 day timer.

Nice summary Arko, but the Titan raid does not require the completion of the 3 prereqs each time you want to run the raid (unlike VON). Once you have your sigil pieces you talk to an NPC to have them assembled into a complete sigil (you need to do this after each Titan completion since the sigil breaks apart). You can then traverse the underwater passageways, etc. to get to the raid enterance OR Greater Teleport there from a non-public area.
