I personnally think it would be a good idea to add a guild section to the compendium. Can this be done and should it be done?

That'd be cool. I have the CGMG for anyone to work off of and the links via Tihocan to the listings.
The only problem is that everything is so drastic and guilds fall and rise so quickly that it's very hard to maintain. I receive weekly adjustments to the CGMG alone, and I'm certain the server guildlisting maintainers have similar activity on most weeks.
Could it just be wiki'd in? The nice thing about wiki is it's editable by the user base -- but I don't know if that's the case with the Compendium.

There is, but it's a total mess (http://compendium.ddo.com/wiki/Category:Guild_and_Character_listings_by_server).
That's what happens when there is no supervision to that kind of thing...

The problem is that it's too hard to keep "clean", most people can't follow the lay out and.. well.. no so pretty. Some can't even follow simple instructions...
Then, there's the issue of "are you in that guild or not" debate... then, guild pages are not kept up to date... which leads to other problems...
Simply put, a wiki is an horrible idea without any supervision.

Definitely have to agree with you on that one Borror0.
