Where do Tome Pages Drop?

Greetings All,

I did a search here to see if I could find out any info on Tome Pages. There were 100+ threads on trading them or buying them in the various market forums, but nothing on where to find them. I know that with the shield pieces, they drop in specific chests in specific quests in the Orchard. Is this true with the Tome Pages as well? If so, what quests and what chests? Any help would be appreciated.

technically speaking, the quest litany of the dead. each time you complete the quest, there is a door up to a tower in the orchard which contains some green crystals. break them and the chest with the tome pieces may drop. chance is small thou

They drop in the preraid for the necro area.

The likelyhood of getting one, is very low, id say maybe less then 10% chance. The people who hav them in circulation either farmed the hell out of it, or got them when it was bugged.

You would have better luck saving your money(plat) and buying them off the AH then getting a complete set.

I've seen them on the AH, but never had a clue what they did. Do the combine to make actual tomes? Whats the + on them, and can you choose which one to take?

Tome Pages
There are 8 different Tome Pieces (Legends) that complete a tome. A completed tome is required to complete the Tome of Untold Legends quest, bestowed by Bilk Howland. A static reward is given upon completion.

The Tome Pieces can be found in the mini-boss chests in The Black Mausoleum (pre-raid). The Legends appear to be somewhat static, and appear as follows:

Tome piece I - Legend I – Cinnis
Tome piece II - Legend V - Cholthulz
Tome piece III - Legend VIII – Mentau
Tome piece IV - Legend IV – High Priest
Tome piece V - Legend II – Mentau, Cinnis
Tome piece VI - Legend VI – Cholthulzz, High Priest
Tome piece VII - Legend VII – Cinnis, Cholthulzz
Tome piece VIII - Legend III – Mentau, High Priest


Tome of Untold Legends Reward List:
Coronation - +5 Morningstar, Persuasion, Greater Elf Bane, Control Undead 1/day
Deathnip - +5 Heavy Pick, Maiming, Seeker +8 (Crit: 19-20)
Phosphor - +5 Heavy Mace, Sunburst, Everbright, Righteous, Impact
Razorend - +5 Shortsword, Bleed, Greater Magical Beast Bane, Keen, Tendon Slice
Serrulae - +5 Battleaxe, Vertigo +10, Transmuting, Giant Bane
Sever - +5 Dwarven Axe, Keen, Limb Chopper, Destruction
Skiver - +5 Dagger, Archmagi, Greater Arcane Lore, Improved Extend I, Improved Empower II
Twinblade - +5 Bastard Sword (Base dmg: 2d8 +5), Greater Goblinoid Bane, Greater Orc Bane, Anarchic, Axiomatic
