Tank Build Please (for a friend) 28pt

Hey guys,

I'm kind of newish (level 14!) and have convinced a friend to come over from WOW! He wants to play a traditional tank type - high AC, hit points, intimadate, some dps (doesn't have to be huge), and some moves to click off, either to keep agro or to debuff etc (stunning blow, cleave, trip, sunder?).

Unfortunately, having played a bard, and my girlfriend being a rather single minded barbarian, I cannot give him the kind of build advice he needs.

So any help would be appreciated!

I wil certainly be scouring these boards, but any links and comments (such as 2 levels or 3 levels pally and why?) would be awesome!

Keep in mind that we will be 28pt builds, and that we will have a little work to do to get great equipment (although I am sure we will get there!).

OK, Riott's looks very close to what I want.

He wants some button pushing options, such as trip/stunning blow type stuff - how could I insert that into Riott's build?


Take out Luck of Heros, Iron Will, and Lightning Reflexes?
Or maybe some of the (slashing focuses)?

And bring in some of the tacticals like improved trip, stunning blow, and cleave?


Should he bring in some Paladin for the saves?(Is that two levels)?

Take a look at my build, take the 28 pt version. Take Stunning Blow instead of Lightning Reflexes and Improved Trip instead of Shield Mastery.

Dwarves make better strategists (for their enhancements).

Like this, he,ll have Cleave, Great Cleave, Improved Trip and Stunnnig Blow. If that's too much clicking, well he can switch back Lightning Relfexes and Shield mastery.
