Ritual Sacrifice - Bug?

Hi All,

Been running around in the Ritual Sacrifice and we have killed everything.

Paetus is now just standing there and we can't talk to him. We have one thing left to do (it looks like) ...

Says

-Open the deepest passages

We think we have been everywhere ...

Is this a bug ?

Can anyone give us a bit of help?

We can't seem to get any in game support because every time I hit the ? I get a server error.

I think the quest is bugged.

Did you forget to talk to him at the first time you met him?

Did that once and messed things up

No ... we talked to him and did get completion for that part

Well we decided to give up ... we have definitely been everywhere.

That's too bad.

Also it would be nice if they could fix their help/ticket system.

There must be an awful quiet helpdesk somewhere considering no one can submit anything.

If it says there's one more thing for you to kill... you have to go kill it. That quest is enormous too, so it could be anywhere.

Sorry I did not read properly you were at Open the deepest portions. All you had to do was pull the door open. He automatically goes active there

All the doors had been opened ... all mobs in the dungeon were dead ... but we still had the ... open the deepest dungeons part left to complete ... I am pretty sure it had been completed.

It had to be in order for us to proceed.

If you talk to Paedus the second time before talking to him the first time the quest like that gets stuck and becomes non-completable without GM intervention.

he already has those quest, i believe from what i can tell.

That happend to us once and it did not say "open the deepest partions" if I remember correctly. and the guy at the door would not be there. All they need to do is open the last door that he is standing next to.


and If I looked at the time of this post I would not have posted. I dont think he is still insde the quest anyways, lol

I was in the instance. The only active quest on the log was 'Defeat the Devil Invasion' and we gave up after almost and hour of trying to puzzle it out ourselves. This was the first time I've ever had that problem in Ritual and...on top of the recent lag stupidity....very disappointing.

Since the patch, I have seen it bug twice at that point. There are several waves of creatures to defeat and somtimes a group doesn't spawn (scorp wave in our case).

Fastest way is to restart instead of waiting for GM (I guess they are busy with all the spam mail and tells).

This one is broken. My guildies have been stuck in there for a few hours with different bugs and many tickets.

I was just in this quest for the past six hours, (a glutton for punishment) We were stuck on the devil assualt part of the quest. One of the Bearded Devils bugged out and became untargetable. After finally getting a Senior GM, who spawned the last wave with the named Orthon, Crean, we had the second wave spawn on us. Once we finally defeated that wave the quest advanced to the 'Defeat the Orthon Crean' stage and of course we didn't have the Orthon spawn. It took over three hours for a senior GM to get to us and help us out. Given how long we were waiting he awarded us completion of the quest, exp. and favor only though. Ah well, I still need to do the quest to get ready for Shroud. Well, I think I may wait until they get this bug fixed.
