I want to make an Acid/good burst/+4 AC mineral 2 khopesh (or possibly holy/acidburst havnt decided yet...)...
My question is I've heard earth dominates positive
So if I go Earth/Opposition/Ethereal for +4 AC does my positive shard have to be Positive/Opposition/Ethereal
or can it be for instance Positive/domination/material (or whatever combination for the last 2 that fits what ingrediants I have lol)
And since the earth dominates positive I will get the AC boost no matter what my positive shard is?

If you want the +4 AC, then questions of dominance don't matter. Earth-Opp-Eth and Pos-Opp-Eth both give +4 AC, so you don't care which one takes priority. Just use the same gems and essences in each.
If you were taking some other tier 3 power, like damage dice, then you might care. For example if you did Earth-Dom-Mat and Pos-Dom-Mat, you would get Acid Blast taking priority over Good Blast.
And since the earth dominates positive I will get the AC boost no matter what my positive shard is?
What people do is use both shards making the same effect. We are not 100% sure that it is always necessary to have them be the same, but everyone thinks so.

I'm looking into the third stage on either a BoLaS or concordant opposition item, the main purpose of the upgrade is the additional sp, so the question is:
BoLaS, Fire/Esc/Eth + Water/Esc/Eth do I get +3 wisdom or intelligence?
CO, Neg/Esc/Eth + Pos/Esc/Eth do I get +3 charisma or intelligence?
Is there a table somewhere that tells what determines which shard is going to be dominant? Or better yet how to select the shard you want to have dominant?
