authentication server problems

since the patch earlier this week i am unable to log into ddo. the launcher craps out once it gets to the splash screen and tries to connect to the authentication server. any suggestions?

i went in and manually removed and added dndlauncher from my firewall, and now it doesnt even make it to the login screen. please help

you need to have dndclient.exe and turbinelauncher.exe in the firewall exceptions list (if they exist remove and re-add them)

I have the same problem mentioned in the original post.

Further, my splash screen is simply a grey grid.

Reinstalling from CD and updating 11 thousand files did not help.

Reinstalling from latest client and updating from there did not help.

I do not have a firewall or router. I do not use Windows Firewall.
