Are AH +1 Tome Prices dropping?

A few months ago you couldn't get a +1 tome for under 500k gp.

Now I see them listed at buyout at 300k gp.
(my +1 Int wasn't selling at 400k gp, so I pulled it)

So what's up?
Have we flooded the market?
Is it +2 Tome or nothing now?

Yes, now that +2 tomes are dropping, +1 really dropped in value.

Yes, they are dropping. Good ol' supply and demand. I sold a +1 tome when they first came out for 100k PP, just the other day sold one for 40k PP.

Can't wait to put a +2 up for sale. :)

As an aside, if you want to make butt-tons of cash, sell that highly-sought-after rare item when you first get one. You'll pull another one soon enough, and you'll have teh wad o' moolah to boot.

To put it into perspective for you....

I have TWO full sets of +1 tomes sitting in the bank. No point in selling them, everyone is after the +2 and +3 tomes that are dropping now. So I am saving them for my lowbies or guildies that may need them.

Supply and demand is a wonderful thing, just ask the oil companies. Oh wait... :D

A +2 tome should get you around ½ a million plat.
