I wondered what a Glyphed fighter might be like. I could see using Glyphs prior to a pull through a door or for other densely packed mob scenarios. Would establish agro and do decent damage (compendium says half if resisted).

Questions:
(1) Does the Greater Glyph do 8d10 at 16th level?
(2) Do enhancement sourced resists stack with potion / caster buffs?
(3) What do folks at higher levels think of Item Defense? Is it necessary to preserve rare items? I've heard some don't decay anyways.

I know I didn't show any Axe enhancements taken, but could be exchanged for enhanced resists, if desired (maybe for low levels?).

Alternative builds doable around a THF build rather then Board and Shield as shown (swap Improved Shield Bash, Greater Spec, Cleave/Stunning Blow for THF line). Would need more changes then I care to figure out to get enough Dex to do TWF.

For a 28pt build, reduce int to 12, and pick either strength or con to reduce by 1

Overall: Yeah?

well.... i have cast glyphs before and been slightly underwhelmed with their abilities
never had it on a high level character to test out but you rarely if ever see them cast which may lend some insight to their usefulness

they'd be a good way to grab agro no doubt and do some dmg.... interesting to see how it works

for the other 2 q's

no, enhancement resists won't stack(highest is taken which will be any spell cast)
the 2pt resists from enhancements kind of get useless as they never ammount to enough to be worthwhile unless they become a prereq somewhere

any bound item won't take permanent damage so take that for what it's worth
check the hardness of some items and see if you want it - with high hardness you may never really need item defense and spending a few Kyhber stones to bind the low durability items isn't a terrible idea

i've never died a ton in quests that my items ever break except on the rare runs from hell and this is with classes without defense lines so it is far from needed
i'd personally just bind unless you have extra AP or find that things are continually breaking
