crafting mistake question

Okay, so last night I rushed a bit too fast while crafting the T2 effect on my greensteel longsword and made a huge mistake. A day later, I'm over my anger (at myself) but am wondering if there is a way to correct the situation.

Is there anyway to correct a mistake? I've already imbuned my longsword with the shard. For instance, I'm wondering if I create a 2nd shard of the effect I wanted if I could apply it to the weapon in order to get rid of the mistaking applied effect.

I hope I don't have to start all over from scratch with a new weapon.

At this point there is nothing you can do but make a new item or live with what u have.

There has been mention that in MOD8 we will be able to deconstruct. Hopefully Shroud items will be in the list of items that can be deconstructed.
