I have been reading the forums and have read both good and bad about getting elemental mastery.

My questions does the extra damage only happen on 1% or what? I read where somebody ran and posted their extra damage hits in the cookbook but I never could find out what the end desion was.

I am think either elemtal mastery or radiance II for my warforge fighter, so what the community desion here?

if you're a rogue, go radiance, for the sneak attack damage while they're blinded.

It turns out that elemental mastery isn't really top of the DPS effects. If you want high dps (against mobs with no DR) then consider going lightning II, or just spending 12 large ingredients and going Fire II which turns out to be the best 'bang for the buck' when it comes to 'ingredients per damage per second'.

Of course, vs mobs with DR, mineral II is probably the best option.

That may be true as far as tier three effects go, but you also have to consider that if you just go fire fire fire, you can't have holy on your weapon. Furthermore, most devils are resistant enough to fire to make flaming and flaming burst do nothing--so on that logic one could say that the best 'bang for the buck' would just be holy holy, since even without a tier three effect, you will still be doing 3d6 extra damage per swing plus the burst effect.

Just my 2cp.

More accurately: All devils are immune to fire, so flaming, flaming burst, and any special super-incinerate proc do nothing.

Interesting, lets see.
Lightning II costs 24 large and adds +10 damage per hit (not counting any Lightning Blast you might also have gotten)
Since Fire II costs 12 large, you must be saying it adds over +5 per hit?

No, it's much more frequent, apparently you get extra damage from 1-2 elements on most hits.
