I have a Level 9 Paladin and I need to get mass XP quickly so I can participate with some friends in a Guild. I need to get my character to Level 12 quickly. I've spoke to different players in game as to what they would suggest, but I thought I'd throw the question out here. For those experienced players, what was your strategy to get XP quickly at a Level 9 character level so you can advance and get into some of the more sweet areas of the game?
Thanks in advance for any info.

I suppose hopping into groups doing VON flagging runs would work; they tend to run them fast & VON3 is quite good exp. Have to make sure no one in the group is more than 3 levels higher than you though (caveat - those quests can take a very long time with groups who don't know them well - pick your groups wisely if you're in a hurry). Gianthold quests also tend to be popular among the powerlevelers. The Pit is good exp, but not popular; it can be very frustrating. One of the Threnals (East 3? not sure which) is also good exp, but can take time to set up (being 3rd in a chain).
Good luck, and remember, once you've satisfied your guild's requirements, it can be fun to level a character more slowly and actually enjoy all the quests at their proper levels ;)

Avoid East 3 at all costs if you're going for xp. You want to farm East 1-2. 1 Gives 2k xp and takes a minute, 2 takes under 20 minutes and gives 8k or so.

Stormcleave seems to be quite popular with those power levelers. I know my guildies drug me thur there more times than I care to count, and lvl'd me rather quickly in the process. Other than that I'd have to agree that VON's (careful about group tho) and the PIT are good ones as well. Once you hit lvl 10 or 11, try Crucible and/or Madstone on normal, both are excellent XP as well.

@ level 9 you could do some gianthold stuff with 9-12 groups - good xp out there, not as good as it use to be though and good loot to boot.
Threnal and co6 are good as well.
Most chain quests are good for xp as most groups will want to do them all - like a vons 1-4 run or Threanel east or west or even south.
C06 is like 6 quests, could be 5.
Also a good way when u cant find a group is to do Sorrowdusk, Ax haven, desert - use the maps on the ddo forums and u can pick up some good xp when u can't find a group.

Once you hit 10, have a friendly cleric or caster or bard powerlevel you through gianthold adventure area.
