I just curious how many have tried what I am considering.

Here is the scenario.

Last night we were doing an all guild run on the Reaver. I keep semi joking with my guildmates that I think I can solo tank the big guy.

I think I found my answer:)

To the frustration of the our tank, (sorry man:)), I would hit the big guy with a scorching ray to get his aggro, then just block and heal myself while he would try to get aggro back....at which time I would hit em again.

What was my conclusion? I think I can.

Although nothing is ever certain, I'm almost positive that I can solo tank the Reaver with no outside heals.

The one time I did have a little bit of a scare was when a silly elemental got to me and wouldnt let me stand up. Was down to a sliver, but as the fates would have it, I jumped up just in time an got off my reconstruct....then I was fine.

For me it was quite exciting.

I'm sure that others have attempted this on their WF casters, but I would like to ask how many have attempted, and accomplished it.

Only thing I can say is this. WF ROCK.

Question do you have quicken? Was just wondering, I am pretty sure with mana recharge you should be able to.

Yes I do have quicken. Only time I turn it off is when buffing. I LOVE this feat.

If and when I ever build another sorc, I will not put points into concentration and move em somewhere else.

My biggest mistake on this guy (I think), was not putting my 1 point I got into UMD. I think that would have been the way to go.

Ahh well....live and learn.

This is close to my preferred solo method on the Reaver. I pretty much shield block and reconstruct while he wails on me and the air elementals nearby burn in a disco inferno.
