ya but it only works if you circle the chest 3 times forward and 2 times backward then diplo and you must be the 3rd person to get the loot or it wont work.

I heard from a guildie (he doesn't play anymore, cuz he got too bored with all of his top-uber loot pulls) that if you hit the questgivers and chests with a enchantment/charm spell (the higher lvl spell the better) it tweaks the loot table in your favor.

It must be true cuz I did it a couple of times and got some good stuff when I did.

Give it a try, you'll see what I'm talking about.

****, that's what I was doing wrong! I was going 3 times backwards and 2 times forwards and then jumping on top of the chest.

Everyone is forgetting to hook up the gameshark and hack the loot tables as well.

Loot tables are fixed- they are only set for those who are friends with the dev's or troll the forums complaining, insulting, bashing, flaming, hating, ignoring facts or valid opinions, and/or lack of good will.

But other then that-

/Grovel /Grovel /sleep /hug, bless, run into a wall, and then you get good loot.

LOL, sad thing is many actually believed this when the game first launched:) Got yelled at over voice chat for opening a chest before the Paladin (cause he had the highest CHA you know) could come over and Dip the chest.... ahhh memories....

And they weren't mistaken. If I remember correctly, one of the first WDAs mentioned fixing the bug that allowed diplo to work on chests.

Now I am going to have to check on that, cause I always thought that sounded like, well a 3rd level Clerical spell component :)
