As reported by Gamestop and Amazon,
The DDO expansion pack "Forsaken Lands" has shipped out today March 31 and will arrive in stores tomorrow or the day after depending on where you live.
This is exciting because its DDO's 1st paid expansion to hit stores since the game released 2 years ago. It will reportedly come bundled with the original DDO stormreach & DDO Forsaken Lands and will retail for $9.99 USD.
Its sad that we wont have it available for download but its a good opportunity for new people to pick up the game as well as for us vets to get back-up disc with the forsaken lands content on it.
Its about time also this content was talked about a year after release and delayed many times with all the other projects getting priority, but after so long and months before the release of monks, after losing its place in the spot light to mod after mod its finally coming out.
Sadly Turbine has said very little about the release chosing to focus on Monks and have left the promotion of this great content in the hands of its partner Atari ................ which is one of many reasons why most people arent even aware of its impending launch even on its eve.
*Everyone make sure you stop in your local game store or hobby shop and ask them if they recieved there shipment or when they expect to receive DDO: Forsaken Lands Expansion ....... for goodness sake people its only $9.99 and it goes to fund future development of the game we love to play*
