Evasion Pali ???

I currently have a WF Pali 7 / Sorc 1.
My feats are THF speced and I have the first Lord of Blades enhancement. But I go with Scimi and shield if I am getting hit too much or am paired with a Barb.
32 pt build. I chose Mithril body at creation. Stats are:
STR 17 base 21 at level 8
DEX 12 15
CON 14 18
INT 8 8
WIS 10 11 I am working on it
CHA 15 16

My enhancements are geared to self healing and Aura, for AC and saves, at the moment, and will change no matter what I decide to do.
He is a lot of fun but sometimes he comes through a quest without a scratch and othertimes I feel like I am trying to melee with my elven caster because he just gets hammered.

My questions for some more experienced WF players are Should I:
1) Swap out my Mithril body for Adamantine and pick up some fighter levels?
2) Pick up 2 levels of Rogue and go evasion?
3) Stay with the plan and end up with a Pali 11 / Sorc 1 / Ftr 8?
4) Just stop whining and reroll a conventional WF evasion tank with Pali / Ftr / Rogue?

Opinions welcome.

I am a big fan of Evasion, however (disclaimer: personal preference only) I much prefer to take at least one Rogue level at level one if I am going to take Rogue levels, just becasue the extra skill points really are that handy.

It always suprises me how an epiphany at 2am looks foolish the next day.
If I go with evasion, do I have enough Dex to make it work? Probably not.
If I picked up the 2 levels of Rogue the skill points would be waisted on UMD or Stealth.
I think I'll just go with option 3 and go with my first Fighter level at 9 to get the extra feats.
I am still undecided on upgradeing to an Adamantine body.

and I had settled on Adam body for the DR and for Improved fort though the downside there is clerics can't heal ya I guess....but as a Pally I have the LOH and with 1 lvel of sorc can wand whip the heals...the rogue I will do at 1 and 9...sorc at 5....can afford repair pots till then I am thinkin. I am assuming you took the sorc for repair and mana purposes. But is repair an arcane feat that can fail....or did ya take mith for dex bonus? And I am doing the wisdom 14 from the get go....that way I can do all pally spells as I need 10 wisdom plus level of spell to cast....pumping everything I can in charisma..after con, str, and dex...but really...turning ain't much....and the extra mana for the sorc is negligble.....UMD ...hmm.....I don't know......now you got me thinkin( runs back to the drawing board)

The only thing is I would never suggest the Improved Fort feat. All you need is a moderate fort item to get 100% fortification, with the feat you are completely cutting off one source of your healing and leaving yourself restricted to a) Potions.Wands which are slow and not easy to use during combat & b) Arcane casters who are not necissarily known for their ability to pay attention to little things like keeping the Warforged upright.....

I am pretty sure evasion doesn't work with addy plating, not sure about mithril but that might not work either.

I am pretty sure evasion doesn't work with addy plating, not sure about mithril but that might not work either.It works with Mithril Plating, Mithril plating is considered light armor.
