I have a UMD based pure fighter who is currently level 16. I'm trying to figure out his maximum attainable UMD. Am I missing anything? I'm talking about self buffage here.

9 ranks
6 ability (14 base +1 tome + 1 human adapability + 6 cloak = 22)
3 feat
5 item (6 fingered gloves)
2 item (head of good fortune)
6 item (shroud charisma skill goggles)

=31

4 greater heroism
5 human versatility

=40

Did i miss anything? Is there anywhere else I can twink it?

I beleive a Prayer Clickie would help another +1 as well.

Well you can get way higher 17 ranks into umd, then 36 char which would be 30 umd from just those two things, but since you are still a fighter you lose a lot of things that could really boost your umd. I had a umd tank with about a 31 just from 17 ranks into umd 24 char and the golden cartouche

As a pure fighter, he would be unable to put 17 ranks into UMD, Max will be 9.5 for him.

The only other thing I see that could possible add anything to your self-buffed UMD is a +3 CHA tome from Reaver/Abbot.

Golden cartouch from delera's is another +3

a +3 tome would increase it to 41. +3 exceptional cha from shroud item + abbot trinket will give 2 more pts for a max of 43. getting these things is another matter.

Nope didn't miss anything(like I would know...)... But I am happy to hear that you didn't stick a level of rogue in. Makes me so proud. :o
having a 35 umd with GH is good.

he's asking if his char is missing anything not what build would give more

Two things:

- the two collectable turn-in potions - one affects your skills, the other your charisma stat.
- Exceptional charisma greensteel weapon

Also, a Litany of the Dead(hahaha) if your cha ends up odd(which it does if you use the +9 item + 3 tome + 3 alchemical and started even!).

thank you all for your input. Strake good call on the greensteel weapon. I thought it was just a +6 cha bonus you could get but you can get the exceptional bonus as well?

I'm sorry Mav. You clearly posted first and I clearly overlooked it. There. Feel better?

Anyway I'll have to take a look at this abbot trinket you mentioned. The head of good fortune is a trinket remember.
