So... uh... ya... Any word on this?

Seriously, just copy the file that is at http://www.ddo.com/favicon.ico http://www.ddo.com/favicon.ico and paste it to where this file is located http://forums.ddo.com/favicon.ico http://forums.ddo.com/favicon.ico. You don't even have to change file names.

I'd prefer a fully anti-aliased one, but I will take what we have at least.

So... uh... ya... Any word on this?Last time we lost it, it took all of 1 day to fix (probably just a day to see the request and only a few minutes to fix). This time, it's months... :( I like seeing the red and gold & in my favorites.

Since we are nearing the end of a development cycle you Community relations people might have a little more time than usual. Could you please copy that file over for us. Since I upgraded to Firefox 3 Beta 5, it ate my custom favicon, and now I have the generic vBulletin periwinkle one not only in my tabs, but in my bookmarks toolbar.

What sort of red tape do yall have to go through to get that done?

Totally off-topic here, but I guess it is favicon related....

So, I do a podcast with a web site called DDOcast. DDOcast.com has a favicon that I put together. It's....okay. Not great, but it's not as easy as you might think to find something that looks good when the pixel size gets that tiny.

Anyone into favicons want to take a crack at making me a cooler-looking one? If you do, I'll pay you one million dollars!

And yeah, I'm into favicons too. I'd love to see DDO's back. I've had issues getting my favicon working on my web site, particularly when it comes to Internet Explorer 6. But it seems to be working now. Favicons act wierd sometimes.
