Hi all,

I'm new to DDO and am going to be playing with a static group of three a lot of the time, but also duoing a fair amount as well. It looks like one of the group is going to be a paladin (my duo partner), the other will most likely be a sorc. I was wondering if this leaves me playing a cleric or if there are any other good options. In general I like spell casters and have looked at the Bard, but I'm worried that it won't bring enough to the group.

Now, we are going to be very casual players -- I highly doubt we will do any raiding and mostly just want to be able to do quests and have fun. So we don't have to be the most optimal group, just not one that's going to be a complete disaster. Okay, to sum up: I'm wondering what classes would make a good third to add to a Paladin and a Sorc.

Any help would be appreciated.

don know how it will effect the end of the gorup but if the caster and tank WF the caster could also be the healer. not sure how well ti would work though... or if a WF rogue would be any good.

Well, you have a melee tank and a caster. You need traps and you need healing.

I recommend making a skill-Bard. Take a couple of rogue levels and take the rest of your levels in Bard. You'll heal, do buffs, do traps and be the perfect support member. You will likely need Drow and about 16 starting intelligence and charisma. A high dex and a Repeater Crossbow is probably the best way to fight- effective melee would probably be too much of a drain- unless you took weapon finesse and used a Rapier and Shield- that might work, too.
