Hello everyone.

Just a quick note to let you know that the forum guidelines have been updated to include two new guidelines. These are pretty standard additions and are fairly minor. #17 has always been an infractable offense. #18 is now an infractable offense, depending on the severity and situation.

They are:

17. Users must not violate, or promote the violation of, Turbine’s terms of service, codes of conduct or end user license agreements.

18. Posting the same thread to multiple forums ("cross-posting") without express permission of the moderators is not allowed.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Did you use the knowledge that a Swallow to maintain Velocity needs to beat its wings four hundred and ninety three time every second? :D:p

A more appropriate response to additional rules being created would've been:

"Help! Help! I'm being repressed!"

Most people go to Sears and buy the kit. Dane, however, was a K-Mart special. A lot cheaper, and almost as good :p

Why own "lots" of them, when you can just have the complete set (http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Calvin-Hobbes/dp/0740748475/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1205333789&sr=8-1).

I had every single comic strip in one book or another long before that set was released. And I'll still probably get it eventually, just to have them all more conveniently located. :)

Would it be a banable offense to call out someone in the forums who got involved with your wife in game and as a result your faced with a divorce?

Sorry I am really bitter today.

No, don't let others push you into ruining your own playground. But there's nothing in the rules that sez you can't say "hi" to folks and hoping they're having a nice day.:mad:

I really hope this is a hypothetical situation also... I mean if she's divorcing a shortsword-using Halfling and decided to run off with a charming Paladin with a greatsword because things got a little hot-n-heavy in the Orchard of the Macabre... Well that's just SO WRONG! She does realize he's now an Anti-Paladin, correct? :D * If this is not a joke, I apologize and am speechless.

How do you kow when a user is promoting the violation of the TOS?

Are we talking plat farming or somebody who publicly suggests you do rule #18 and cross post everywhere?

I don't want a ticket to get away with x, but #17 could be used to improperly accuse somebody of something and be administratively punished based on the assumption of doing so without actually doing said infraction.

Yeah, not as sexy as Python or Calvin and Hobbes, or shocking as divorce over gaming, but still a posting by a player nonetheless.

Oh what the hey:

"It's just a flesh wound!"

To begin with, I needed basic kinematic data on African and European swallow species.

South African Swallow
(Hirundo spilodera) European Swallow
(Hirundo rustica)
Although 47 of the 74 worldwide swallow species are found in Africa,1 only two species are named after the continent: the West African Swallow (Hirundo domicella) and the South African Swallow (Hirundo spilodera), also known as the South African Cave Swallow.

Didn't one of the talk show hosts, whose name may or may not start with 'M' And Understandably Result in the letter Y, have a special about people who are married in RL and marry someone else in an MMO? They were more concerned with that World Of Walking game and the Secondary Living game than our wonderful DDO, but I would think DDO would not be exempt. And if that special someone decides your relationship is not so special because they found a knight in shining armor in an MMO, this happily married female would advise that perhaps there were issues prior to such meeting, though not necessarily of any one or the other's making. Consultation with a professional marriage counselor is often the best course. Also methinks such calling-out would violate rules numero 1,2, and possibly 3, depending on the wording. Anything angry will likely get a negative response from the powers that be.

Oh, and on the more appropriate note, "ecky,ecky,ecky....etc." is too long to be a guildname, elsewise the Knights Who Say... would be my guildname. It was one of several serious contemplations. I raise a glass to all who respect the Great Monty and Co.
