View Full Version : Faction and quest difficulty question.

Is there any way to see what difficulty level you've finished a quest on? I ask because I grouped last night and did waterworks for the first time with a new character and we ran it on hard. I know I still haven't done it on normal and I assume if I go back and do so I'll get more faction. It would be nice to know which ones I haven't done and at what dificulties. As far as I can tell the faction screen just shows the HIGHEST dificulty you've finished at.

1) You do not get additional faction for doing a quest on normal/hard/elite than you do if you complete it on elite.
2) You're correct that the favor panel only shows the highest level you've completed a quest at.

1) Oh dear lord your kidding right? God i've wasted so much time doing all the lowbie quests on solo,normal,hard,elite then.
2) Yeah if the above is correct then no need to show anything else.

Not necessarily, as long as you were around the level of the quest, you do get a first time xp bonus on each difficulty

True, I was only leveling when i hit the xp cap.

Doing everything N/H/E won't get you any more favor, but I wouldn't say that it's been wasted. You will pick up a lot more xp that way. In fact, some people asked for the quest log to show which difficulties have been completed and which have not, in order to pick up the bonus experience.
