So, the launcher client is more clever than I thought. I went in and tweaked the ddo_module_splash.jpg file. Just for fun. But apparently, the launcher checks the file size or something? Everytime I launch it downloads the "correct" one and replaces mine. Any way around this? I can't seem to maintain the filesize, and that was just a guess as to how the launcher app knows it's not "original"...

I tried too, doesn't work. Might have a CRC type of check mechanism. It would be trivial to implement for the launcher.

It would be nice to let us change the splash screen on our own machines as part of the skinning though.
