Halfling Bard?

Hi all.

I am returning to the game. I haven't played since a month or two after launch.

I have always had a soft spot in my heart for halflings, and for bards.

What are the prospects for a successful 28pt halfling bard build? How should I go about approaching it? Or should I do something else until I can do a 32 point build. (Which could take quite a long time)

In all honesty, I think it might be fully able to, souley for the reasoning of a bard is rarley noticed in game on the kill count, since everything relies on Charisma and AC really doesn't matter endgame, you can probably try to pull off a healing/spellcasting bard. But thats just me and every time I have posted my opinion on these boards ive been burned at the steak :P

I have a 28 point halfling spellsinger I still run as my main. I like him too much to reroll even for the 32 pts. he's still viable even in the vale/shroud.

I have a halfling bard i run. She's mainly a buff and ranged bard. She makes an awesome support character to most groups. Blur, good hope and haste makes everyone happy, tanks love haste, and casters hate casting it all the time. Enter the bard. High UMD helps alot too, usually when the cleric gets whacked. Rezing the cleric has saved the day more then a few times. I went with the Viruoso focus, her fasination works on just about everything. just remember preform is now the skill needed to save for that. so keep your preform skill maxed if you can.
