So a new live event planned, while the rest of the world outside USA has to be at work. Not all of us can spend our days playing DDO, aome of us must go to work.
You know we pay the same as americans do, more when you work out exchange rate and we miss out once again.
I have personally been playing this game for 2 years and missed out on every live event and not to mention we cop every single shutdown or maintenence during our peek playing periods.
Now I know you will say its an american game, blah blah blah but comeone in 2 years cant the rest of us catch a break?
This event could of been scheduled for saturday your time, then at least we may of had a chance of experiencing it.

sorry ddo live events don't outweigh a higher quality of life imho

but perhaps a dual timed event? one occurrence in evening and one in afternoon...

Easy folks, sure ain't an issue worth summoning a Frax monster for.

The current event did start at midnight'ish US time, so thought this was allowing the other side of the marble to get in first. Alas, as can be seen in other threads, you have to be in the right place at the right time to get a look at one of these first invasion sequences.

As was pointed out above (inappropriately formatted as it was) the events are going to be a daylong (+?) thing. Thereafter, the XP bonus week lasts... well, a week :)

Just like to point out that the "USA" stretches across 6 time zones. What is peak for some folks isn't exactly convenient for others. Further, lots of people work on Sundays... retailers, restauranteurs, and more. There's no good time to do things. I'm going to be at work during the bulk of the live events as well and I live in the US.

Ya know, "higher" quality of life not withstanding (rflmao) there are at last estimate about 23 million Aussies.
There are about 300 million Yanks.
The reason these things occur the way they do is simply the same reason you don't put QwikiMarts in the middle of the wasteland. It's bad business. Even Aussies want to market to the US.

Now if you lived in China or India...you might have a point. :D

I was in the USA last may (LA, Vegas and Hawaii), and wow how do you find anything over there.

I would personally like to thank all the aussies that are on. Normally, on the weekends when I come home and plan to spent an all nighter on a game theres no one to group with because everyone needs their beauty sleep or what not. This game however when I log on and need a group, you aussies are their to fit the bill.

GOOD ON YOU people.

Well I have to give a great big thanks to most of the Aussies out there...I get on anywhere between 10pm and 3am EST and the only guys running at that time are you guys...

I have to say thanks because if it wasn't for ya'll I may still be a lvl 2 cleric with no hopes of lvling...

On the flip side...isn't this event supposed to be run over and over on a loop so everyone can experience it?
