I've been spending some time recently with guildies, old and new, showing them the ropes with a stealth wizard. It's been a lot of fun for many of them, and by request I have made some videos...quite a few actually, lol...recapping the stuff I've covered with them. So, I thought I'd post links to them here as well for any other aspiring shadow mages out there.

Maxed out both stealth skills for a pure wizard, 14 dex (20 with item), used to carry around a docent of greater silent moves and a ring with a hide bonus, but replaced those both with the Dustless Boots from the Demon Queen.

I haven't done testing of the nature that Mrcow does, so I can't tell you the spot or listen skills for monsters, but I can tell you without my stealth gear it does put me too low to sneak by a fair amount of the higher level stuff. With the boots on, I can sneak by most end game stuff.

Wow just want so say you are truly amazing, your videos are always entertaining and motivate me to work better on my stealth skills. Right now that is limited to my BAM runs down the sneaky hallway for loot runs :P I wished I played more on Argo so I could learn from you :)

WOW

I usually boost hide/move silently/listen on my bards/rogues/rangers - I will frequently use these skills, but not to this extreme. Looks like I'm going back to sneak school.

I would like to say.... I much prefer this style to zerging and tanking. I'm in the process myself of building an elven assassin that I intend to utilize some of the techniques I have seen from your videos. Very sweet.

BTW, I am on Argo so we may meet up sometime. You will usually see me running with my main, Cuchoinneach Deathslayer!
