I'm going to play a bit of permadeath with some friends and I thought I'd make a rogue for traps. This toon probably won't live past level 3 unless he's really lucky. I don't play rogues, so I'm clueless as to how to build him. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Not the best trap smith ... by a lot. But he should kill pretty effectively. Diplo is your friend... your Will save is not... you'll need at least a +3 Wis item to cast spells ... most notably Ram's Might for more strength and damage.... keep Rage Potions around for a little more lovin... and let the tank have the aggro. You can Wand whip without fail are immune to Disease and Fear and with some choice items are a force to be reckoned with. Use Haste boost to go from dice to Frappe and Way of the Assassin for a little more love for the baduns

Might want a decent con to start as its permadeath and you don't seem to confident about getting it past 3.
sooo...maybe consider a dwarf? but if it has to be drow i'd drop points in this way
10 in con
6 each in str, dex, int
just make sure the grp takes things slowly, maybe someone to scout, don't do quests too high over your levels, and theres no reason not to pass 3.

Well the lack of confidence is just because I've never ran PD before. It sounds like a good time for a few hours on the weekend. Thanks for the input guys.
If anyone is interested in joining, jump on Thelanis - 12pm est. All my characters start with Fap. We're looking for a few more to fill out a static group that will run Saturday mornings for an hour or two.
