Fighter comes WAY too early and sacrifices too many caster levels early on, meaning it's going to be a pain to level.

ive been doin really good so far and im only level 5 almost level 6 thats why i posted the level drop this way imo. but everyone has there own taste so yeah thats also a good way to go to if u just want to even things out but usually right now i top kills and when i get my buff spells later on it will be a massacre then when i finally hit 10 it will be smooth sailn ;) coz ill be able to mez anything with virtuoso and music of the maker and music of the dead or whatever they call that last one .. but when i cap thats when ill really shine. but thanks for feedback finally someone posts with some intriging opinions. so yeah keep it real .. peace :)

I noticed that as well. At least he waited until level 20 for the Con tome. Also, I've never found Music of the Makers to be worth taking. Music of the Dead is used much more often, so I can see taking that. (I have it myself) I also think you'd be much better off as a Warchanter than a Virtuouso. You could still get the ability to Fascinate everything without Virtuouso, and it would increase your melee ability.

i know i know it was a bug in the toon generator i didnt mean for the plus 4 con but the plus 3 strength is worth it trust me.. warchanter is not worth it i only use rage when people need a intimi tank .. i know what i am doing but again intriguing opinion. and trust me when you go in a pvp tavern and get wasted by a lousy wf then youll know that u need music of makers. but yeah rage is a good thing to have cause with it and a ring of rage i pwn giants like a hot knife going through butter at level 4 while i was takn on stormcleave which was a level 8 quest but now im level 5 almost 6 (still havent had much game time to level) coz ive been real busy with my real life having fun with my family. so this build will be pretty dang spicy once i get virtuoso and fascinate every one around me including wf in the pvp tavern then buff up to 110% power and kill each person or construct one by one just to tick everyone off in sarlona.

OP didnt say if he had access to 32 point builds, but even a 28 pt Dwarf is better than Drow the way their enhancements are overpowered right now. Seeing as he's taking toughness anyway, another 98 hp couldnt hurt, for starters.

So few peeps talk about virtuoso on here, I cant even remember what it does really. I'm sure either of the other 2 specialties would be better.

Couple more comments, since Ive already rolled a couple very similar toons. The reason I stopped playing both bard/barb/fighters was cause I made the mistake which Skraus was talking about. I took too many non-bard levels early. The crucial turning point for a bard is level 7, as you get haste and diplacement. If your 7th bard level comes too late, you will find yourself bogged down in the mid levels.

As I mentioned, Drow is great for TWF bards, but if youre using 2 handers, dwarf is far superior. Furthermore, if youre using 2 handers, you should seriously consider the 2 hander tree. It requires 3 feats, which you seem to be able to spare. If you take spellsinger, that will get you 2 UMD. You could drop weapon focus, SF: UMD, and quick draw and take the 2HF tree instead. And do tons more damage.

You sort of defeat the purpose of taking FOP when you spend points on WIS. Drop the points in WIS, and take FOP earlier.

The final comment I have is that you should take a hard look at the 2nd barb level. It gets you a CON point and an extra rage, but it costs you 5th level bard spells. Not a good trade IMO. I would definitely go 13/2/1 instead of 12/2/2.

5th or 6th level is a great time to reroll. You should be able to get that back in a weekend of 16 hrs of playtime/babysitting.

dwarf are okay i guess but raging is used for only when u really want to kill and tank again i know what i am doing i am using this build as we speak and dwarf are rather inferior if u ask me if u dont believe me then challenge me to a duel im currently level 5 so i wont be much of a challeng as of right now but if u have a level 5 or 6 bard then i say two words to all you drow haters .. bring it. and when i get to level 16 and yes i am taking the rest all the way up to 20 for bard levels when they finally cap it to 20 then we will see who is the superior race. Drow ;) or dwarf ><

Oh, and it's not about which is a "superior" race. It's about which seems to work better for your concept.
