So I built a ranger, and I realized that since we get some spell abilities, I figured I'd might dable in some multiclassing with a mage class in order to take advantage, but I was wondering where I could find some info in order to make good decisions.

A very good discussion took place here for Arcane Archer builds before mod 6 was actually released. http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=130314. I built my Arcane Archer based on one of the posted specs listed. Her build is below. I always use Ron's character planner to build my alts. Seeing how things work out before actually building the character is very useful. She's at lvl 4 now and a blast to play. If you want you can always post you build for help as well. The experts here will give your good advise. My build is 32pt and I used a bunch of tomes in building her.
