Need ideas for Haggle bot Bard

Human or Drow ? want to make him more of a caster type, able to make 32 point builds (was thinking of giving him light repaters) any suggestions would be much apprecaited or build lay outs. But primary purpose will be to become haglle bot mule

No brainer there go drow. Drow have a natural charisma bonus that effect both casting and the haggle skill. Drow also get a natural dex bonus that will help with your repeaters.

Well it does differ a bit depending on your main focus. If the HAGGLE part is your main concern, I beleive you can hit a higher benchmark as a Human with HV Skilll Boosts, while the CHA gain from Drow is less than that. However, if you also want to be effective with other things, then the options are not as clear.

Spells, gear, feats, level stat boosts are a wash between the two.

Starting Stat and Enhancement Boosts are the difference.

Humans get to Boost two stats by 1 point
Humans GET HV for up to 5 skill ranks of boost

Drow can boost CHA by starting with a Higher Stat 20 vs 18 IIRC
and thats it from what I can see.

Bards get CHA boosts - good for both races as well as Haggle Skill bumps.

Drow only gain +1 to the charisma score in the long run compared to humans assuming you use your human adaptability towards charisma. Humans also gain the bonus feat at first lvl, so if you put that towards skill focus haggle you would be at a +2 advantage assuming you didn't take that as a drow. Humans also get more skill points.....10 intel on a human is = 12 on a drow.

Human feats:
lvl 1- skill focus haggle
lvl 1- repeater (light or heavy)
lvl 3- mental toughness
lvl 6- extend spell
lvl 9- improved mental toughness
lvl 12- improved crit repeater (of earlier choice)
lvl 15- precision (assuming you are not using damage repeaters, more like banishers, pralyzers, smiters, wounding)
or precise shot

The difference is too small to be worth a feat slot.

apparently my last post got eaten by the connectivity issues.

leveling a max hagglebot is beyond painful (we have a thread about it on the khyber forums for when the qwijymart guys leveled their toons). so the question you have to ask yourself is 'do i want a high haggle or max haggle?' if you want a high haggle, you can go human with a 16 cha and have plenty of points to spread around to other stats and not rely on heavy repeaters...

max human haggle is around 76. that's maxed cha, house d pots, sf:umd, and negotiator. yours would be 1 behind that, but the character would be so much more playable it isn't even funny.
