Just so everyone knows, as of about 4:00pm Eastern today, I had compiled all of the posted Crafting Recipes from the multiple threads about crafting and the Google Spreadsheets onto the DDO Wiki's Crafting Section. (http://ddo.enterwiki.net/page/Crafting)

While I know there is more work to do on the Explanation/Directions portions, everything that I could comb off the forums is up there, so in an effort to not replicate work, if we start posting new information here, I will continue to combine it and insert it into the Wiki, and everyone else is welcome to help (A Wiki is, by design, something that everyone can edit!)

Not trying to short-circuit anyone here, or step on any toes, but just a desire to see all the information gathered in a single place for the best possible reference material and information sharing possible. If you aren't comfortable posting on the Wiki, just post your findings on this forum or thread, and I'll come by and combine it all into the Wiki!

Thanks everyone!
Dworkin

I have been following all of the crafting threads closely.

I greatly appreciate all of the work that peeps have done to help with crafting guides.

I've also complied a spread sheet that IMO is a bit easier to read than a text wall.

I update it everyday, it is a bit light on the explanation but once you know the basics all the information is there.

I find your speadsheet harder to read than our tables, I guess it's preference. Mind helping us keep the wiki updated at the same time? :)

No I actually like the way you've laid out the wiki, I was referring to the forum posts with page long recipes of pure text.

As for updating the wiki, that's not really my bag, but you're more than welcome to use anything you find in my chart that you don't have.

Totally agreed there, imo, anyone making a guide on the forum would be better served editing the wiki, much more liberty than on the forum. I know Dragonstar loves all of what he can do that he can't do on his thread.:)

Ok, will do. Thanks.

But you know, editing the wiki isn't really hard..;)

Borror0,

I've a question on how to read the tables:

Scenario: Get to Alter of Invasion with Green Steel Bracers and put in the ingrediants to get the +1 Wisdom Skills, Wizardry VI. Would the bracers also get the +6 Wisdom? Or only a weapon would get that?

Just trying to make sure I understand how to read this.

Thanks for putting all of this together!!!

It appears that any recipe has a different effect on a Weapon than on an Item (Clothing/Jewelry).

So if you put Earth/Escalation/Material on a Power Shard, then put that Power Shard in with a Weapon, you would get +6 Wisdom on the Weapon... but if you put that same Power Shard in with an Item, you would get the +1 Wisdom Skills, Wizardry VI.

Yup, that's what I was afraid of. Bummer. Would have preferred it on an item rather than a weap....

Thanks, Dworkin!

In your wiki, you mention that you need to provide a weapon "with a listed value of +6 to +10" to create a Shavarath Medium Energy Cell. What is a "listed value"?

when you hover over an item it gives a +? in the top right corner of the window.

Most lvl 14 weapons are 7+

Just FYI - I've been using the DDO wiki as I plan out my green steel item. Very nice job on it and I hope you keep up with it. Totally a ton of work, I'm sure. Very nice though.

Not only we're keeping it up, but we're working on a restructuration of the information to make it easier on the user side... and we'll get a new home page. Long process though, hopefuly we'll get the new wiki up in a few weeks.

All this work for something described by the devs as a prototype crafting system  We have a long way to go.

Ok, I just finished a big update to Altar of Invasion and Altar of Subjugation.
I have gone back and re-marked all of the Confirmed, Suspected, and Unknowns, using the best information I can gather, and cross-referencing with Cambo's post, as well as both of the Google Spreadsheet. If there is anything marked incorrectly PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I am keeping a master-copy of the information off-site (in Excel), and updating the Wiki from my Excel sheet to try to ensure the best accuracy possible.
