Should I be dumping points into it? I did at first, and kept at it with the special DM Texts, but now that I've started multiclassing I'm looking to free up some skill points and I can't really remember listen ever doing anything terribly useful.

It allows you to "see" hidden enemies when they're sneaking, you'll see the little red flashes whenever they take a step. Usefull if you have a low spot.

It also allows you to tell when a floor is about to break out from under you before it happens. That is, if you're at the front of the party...

That is, if you're at the front of the party...And if your not the Barb in the front getting dumped into a room full of arcane skellies will let you know that the floor is unstable also, it's a win-win situation;)
