Service.asmx" is not available

After downloading and installing the new patch, the client is not able to connect to the default data center. Message reads: The default data center "http://gls.ddo.com/GLS.DataCenterServer/Service.asmx" is not available Countdown to next attempt......

Any idea when this will be resolved? Or is this a problem with my PC hooking up to the server?

Please make sure you refresh your firewall settings. It's likely that the patch caused the launcher and client files to change enough that your current firewall settings may no longer recognize the files. Remove dndclient.exe and dndlauncher.exe from your exceptions/allowed programs list and make sure that TurbineLauncher.exe and dndclient.exe are in the list (turbineinvoker.exe as well if you are using Vista).

I've downloaded the uptadate. rebooted.tried the Firewall changes as well. turned off my firewall and i still cannot get the game to not come up without the same message. Anyother suggestions? Thanks for any help.

That is the LauncherUserSettings.xml file, the ones we need are labeled: Launcer_(random long number).log They should open in Notepad.
