Ok Guys Here's a new one for ya,

How about placing an archway on one of the walls in the portable hole. Make it have multiple sockets in which occupants of the Portable Hole can place various assortments of gems. When the gems of various values are placed in a certain order, it opens a portal to a random area determined by the way the gems are inserted into the archway. This will increase the use of gems and make them a more valuable commodity in the game. It would also allow for all kinds of opportunities for playing with the locations for you to teleport to and I know the developers could have a ball with this one. For example, you could have it teleport people to the top of a mountain, to the middle of the water in an area, to one of the wilderness areas or to a location that no player could get to normally in the game, like the top of one of the buildings in the public areas. The options are endless for this and teleportation seems a easy adaptation for something such as this use. With the great variety of gems to include dragonshards, smugglers rubies and others, anything could be possible.

Give this some consideration and see if it could be used, I am sure players would have loads of fun with it.

It sounds like fun, but on Sarlona at times it's hard to find a caster at my usual play times. This would probably freeze game play for a time, cause the casters would never leave their Hole to come play. :D

It is a cute idea, but with how they have it currently rigged, I doubt they would ever do it. There has to be a person to teleport to or an object it seems. If you doubt this, go into a house, and look up at the sky, near above where the teleporter gate is at. If you do it right, you'll see a "person" high up there. Only reason why I noticed it once is because the yellow npc name text caught my attention.

Interesting, you would think the would perm invis him and basically make him undetectable. And you know I am going to have to take a look now. :p

Someone has been watching the original "Land of the Lost" series.

I would be super happy with a more detailed recall system. For every zone.

[ie] Marketplace recall would have options for Harbor or any of the House entrances. Wilderness Recall gives options for INN's. You know some useful time savers for those situations you are a number of zones away from the party you just joined or get your SP back at the INN.

Actually, I hadn't thought about the old land of the lost series, but I guess my subconcious did. LOL. GOD I'm old to even remember that series.
