Break/Yeah Right

Hail All:
So I attemped to take a break and that lasted I think .......2 Weeks. LOL

So I decided to Build a Bard and keep him quiet. I pugged him all the way to lvl 13 and along the way met a lot of new players. I must say playing with newer players certainly has its GOOD and BAD but over all, a great time. Also, it is nice to run with everyone that I usually do. See you around the realm as usually.

P.S. Aside from unplugging the Computer, I dont' think a break is possible. Anyone else have that problem :D

wasn't for me I read 2 books in a couple of days and came back so I deleted a couple of 14's and rerolled casue I was tired of the same old same old

I've been here for over a year and a half and still loving it. Not even thinking of quiting.

Try finding a different game to invest your time in. Has worked for me. I've popped on a couple times and started checking out the forums but I've been keeping myslef busy with other things.

Yeah a break without another game won't work usually. I broke for 5 months once but i was beta testing lotro and playing it. back now for about 3 months tho.

I have taken a break twice, each 3 months at a go. I play a regular PnP game, so I always have something reminding me of D&D every week or so. There is something cool about watching your characters actually come to life in a video game. Also, not being constrained by trying to get a group of real life people in one place is nice.

I personally love the character customization in the game. Outside of Asherons Call, this game has the best ability to gimp your toon in the most fantastic ways.

I actually finally just killed the titan for the first time the other day and it was pretty cool. Now for the Abbot and to finish off my max favor.

Yeah, I had forgot there was maybe 2 or 3 ppl that knew me when leveling my bard.:D That was some good fun doing lowbie quests again.

Charming Mobs:
Sure I can see when charming mobs is not a good idea but I must say, it is a very powerful ability/spell when used in the right spot. Of course if you are that "uber" tank that just wants to kill stuff, and charming hurts your count, well I say tough cookies to you. I never did mind the players that asked nice but the amount of ppl out there that just would get rude right off the start, well no need to flame them. They Im sure will flame themselves in time.

Good to see yah back Bunk. Titan was fun with yah even if he had not taken his meds.

As to charming, I have yet to see many clerics complain about it. Nuff said.
