Heya everyone I just started playing the past week I've got my pal up to 4 but I'm thinking ahead what I want to branch out to.
I was thinking a pal/bard combo I'm 4 right now get bard to 2 then keep moving up on the pal side. so go 4pal/2bard then get to 6pal/2bard
can anyone give me any suggestions or tell me why this wouldn't be good?
Both rely on charisma for there spell points.
Thanks in advance

Ya can't be a pally bard because of alignment conflicts. Most people go rogue... a popular build is 11 pally/ 2 rogue/ 1 fighter or even just 12 pally 2 rogue

You have a long and inclined path ahead of you. (Bard/Paladin = Impossible BTW)
I suggest you map out your character to level 20 and figure out what his purpose in a party of 6 is.
- is it Tank (AC / DPS) ?
- is it Healing assistant ?
- Anything u can imagine....
Once u have mapped him out your stats come next. Since u r at L4 we may be too late or you have already forseen the build needs, then again since you are asking for help...I guess not!
Loads of reasons why it's not a good idea.....please read Dworkin of Amber's Paladin Guide. There is nothing like it around, and reading it twice will help you greatly.

Now if they implemented certain Feats in certain ways you could become a B/P
Devoted Performer out of the Complete Adventurer is a Feat that allows a Bard Paladin Multiclass. You still must remain Lawful Good though. It also lets you add Paladin levels to Bard Levels to determine number of Bardic Musics per day and I believe Smite Damage
but for now you cannot have a Bard Paladin or a Barbarian Paladin or a Druid Paladin

also I like the Paladin 3/ Rogue X gets ya Immunity to Fear and Disease which is very nice and saves you inventory slots
