I'm about to pull my hair out.

I'm coming back to the game after over a year and I started hearing about Tempest and DW Sniper. I see them referenced in builds, discussions, etc.

But for the life of me I can't find them. I can't find them in the compendium, in the wiki website, even googling. I just catch veiled references.

What are they? Ehancements?
What do they do?
What are the prerequisites?

And finally....
Am I just an idiot? Are explanations posted in some glaringly obvious place that I've totally overlooked?

And finally for real...
Tempest II is supposedly coming in Mod 7 I heard. is there a ranger level requirement so I don't multiclass too much?

enhancements. Try the WDA for more specifics. http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?&postid=1515112#post1515112

As for Tempest II

Rangers are likely to gain the benefits of STWF (without having to meet the prerequisites) through the Tempest II enhancement, come M7. It seems appropriate for two-weapon focused rangers to get access to it without having to spend a feat.

The prerequisites are likely to be Tempest I, Ranger Level 15, and possibly a random smattering of Ranger enhancements.

Guessing the higher the tempest or densewood sniper enhancements the higher level ranger you will need to be. If the dev's are really concerened about level 20 like some of the players are, the highest level enhancements for the 2 will be around level 18 for a ranger. Thats just my guess, hard to imagine whats in store for the future.

Does any1 know if the arcane archer, tempest and deepwoodsniper enhancements are stackable
or do you have to choose 1 of them like a bard with the spellsinger/warchanter enhancements?

unfortunatamally, can only choose 1 at a time like the bard ones, even if take arcane archermer through elven prereq and not ranger prereqs.

Thanks for the info Kargon, I suspested as much...In that case I will probably opt for the
deepwoods sniper enhancement line for my bard 8/ranger 6, I could see this being very
effective with the named silver bow from "the church & the cult" which has extra damage
and also an expanded crit range itself in combination with the feat improved critical>>ranged.
Speculations?? Something like 1d10 for damage and crit rage of 16-20 with sniper and improved
crit feat...also 4x damage?? Is my reasoning/math off here or it that reasonably accurate??

That could amount to a lot of damge with the strengh bonus, holy effect and other enhancements....
not to mention multishot??

Once we master the abbot raid and start beating it regurlarly........2d12 on a deepwoods sniper will be pretty sick.

Shadow what range weapon from the Abbot raid will produce 2d12 damage.
Like many I have not beaten the raid, so is that some end loot or ???
I would certainly like to have one...I currently use a silver bow,
bow of the elements (air), +3 wounder, +2 acid greater construct bane
bow, as my mains.

As I recall that was improved but I would have to ask one of my buddies on Fernia.
