Need some help with Rogue/Fighter Armor

Heya Rogues,

I'm in the process of building a Drow L12(11) Rogue / L2(3) Fighter (L4 when the cap goes to 16) and since I'll be proficient in wearing medium and heavy armor...Will he benefit at all from wearing a Mithral Full Plate. I have a +3 Fearsome MFP (ML10) in the bank and he's L2 Rogue / L1 Fighter ATM. Is the fearsome part of it as big a benefit as I think given that I'm a TWF? He hits you..he's feared and you increase your DPS through backstabbing damage and sneak attack benefits. I know the armor is classified as medium armor but how does that affect his two weapon fighting. Is he better off to wear a mithral chain shirt?

The Problem is that your giving up Evasion to wear any kind of Full plate.... Thats a hard pill to swallow.

Whats the Dex on this character? I'd think a Mithral Chain shirt or Mithral Breatplate would be a better bet.

Ahhh...that's right...me bad and forgot about the evasion part. I think his dex at the moment is 22 at L3 (Base 20, +1 tome and +1 item). I'll confirm that tonight after I log him on. Maybe I'll just hold onto that FP for a while and see if any of my other characters pull one.:D

if its 22 at lvl 3 you will be wearing robes at high levels with AC bracers, fearsome robes are not that hard to come by, so you can get both fearsome and heavy fort with evasion intact

Ooooooohhhh...I have that already....:D But then there's my new wizard to contend with as well.

for fighting undead & ac, i wear a kundarak delving suit

I have a rogue/ftr/barb character who wears +3 Fearsome mithral BP of light fort. I really like this armor. Its still important to manage aggro but for the times you get it, this armor can really save your butt. Plus its cool looking.:)

I use the Nightforge gorget when fighting alot, but lgt fort is still good for when im doing my rogue thing(traps etc).
