Here is an idea that really made a difference for our group once.

Discplacement. We weren't doing that well, until finally I said, hey, I will start casting discplacement on everyone once inside. I put it on the cleric and casters before we went in.

As everyone noted, they took a whole lot less damage. So, we took several shots at the white dragon before taking it down. On the third try of the blue, is when I decided to use discplacment. Bam down goes the blue. Did the same for black, down on the first try.

Also works a treat in Demon Queen.

So much less healing for the cleric, so much less damage for the casters.

lol. no... Didn't know that was a blue dragon. I am talking about the Gianthold Tor Blue Dragon.

Keep both dragon and giant near door. Bring the fire giant down to low HP with cones of cold. Casters spam firewall like mad once giant hits 5%hp. Dragon dies in no time. Then unleash merry hell on Giant to kill him. Loot chest.

Melee types sit in the corner and pick their noses the whole time.
